My Selknam body of work is an investigation, a sharing, a visual homage to a bygone society whose values are so relevant today. Considering that they had the most ancient way of living, hunter-gatherers, the Selknam were rich in rituals, had a remarkable set of principles and deep respect for nature.
Hand painted canvas silhouettes, mixed media painted stones collected regionally and in every trip to other areas of the US and abroad, man-made and varied natural elements, wood shapes, wood sticks, varied bones, texts.
