Selknam Circle of Power @ HVCCA Museum
Bull-head, deer bones, hand-painted stones collected regionally and in every trip to other areas of the US and abroad, man-made and varied natural elements including wood sticks, varied bones, recycled fur, animal teeth, acrylic paints, oil base paints, resins.
The bull-head represents the conquistadors. The circle of stones represents the power of the Selknam People. The fact that are in a close circular shape, they are in constant contention of authority. The colors are inspired by the Selknam limited palette.
