Bull head bone, acrylic paint, canvas strips, recycled Icelandic sheep fur.
20" x 14" approx.
The bull head represents the conquistadors that reduced the Selknam. In the late 19th century with the discovery of gold and expansion of sheep farming, the Argentine and Chilean governments began efforts to explore, colonize and commit genocide against all indigenous peoples of Tierra del Fuego.
